Sharon Gail Jenkins was born September 2, 1952, at Neligh to Lawrence “Bud” and Rita (Winnepenninkx) Munson. She graduated from Wayne-Carroll High School in 1969. Sharon married Bob Jenkins, January 30, 1971, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wayne. The couple lived in Wayne all of their married life. Sharon was a child care provider for several years and was employed as a farm service loan officer by USDA for nearly thirty years. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne. Sharon owned and operated a craft business, Sharon “A” Bit, enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening, camping, and their trips to the Black Hills in South Dakota.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Chad Jenkins of Wayne and Amy (Brian) Schwartz of Battle Creek grandchildren, Jacob and Ashlynn Schwartz; brother, Gary (Mavis) Munson of Norfolk; step-sister, Barbara (Byron) Heier of Wayne; several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Edward Watkins.
